Summary

This video explores the Precedents features in Archistar that can be used to track surrounding developments in the area that might be setting development precedents. Precedents can be used to check and verify whether the current planning rules can be / or are currently being exceeded.

Precedents features include access to Archistar’s “Precedents” feature, and Cordell’s Development Application data

Key Steps

• Click on a site to access its “Site Summary” panel
• Click into “Precedents” in Site Summary
• Click on surrounding sites to see sites that have been developed
• Close Precedents and click on “the “Add Ons” menu, top right of the screen
• Click on Cordell to see a list of all DA’s in the suburb
